But when the dog is elderly he said a wheelchair may be an option, but he did not recommend this in a young dog at all...he said they need to adapt to this IF they have to live with it....the surgeory cost (at Tx A&M) around $2000. But I have searched and the dog wheelchair devices can be bought at dogwheelchairs.com. Good Luck!
